Naperville’s Good Shepherd invites kids to ‘True North’ vacation Bible school
This summer, kids are invited to embark on an adventure at “True North: Trusting Jesus in a Wild World,” hosted by Good Shepherd Church from July 14-18.
At True North, kids will discover what it means to trust Jesus — no matter where life takes them. Each day, children will engage in fun, Bible-centered activities, sing energetic songs, play teamwork-building games, enjoy delicious snacks, explore unique Bible Adventures, and experience sciency-fun experiments they’ll never forget. Plus, through God Sightings, kids will learn to notice evidence of God’s love and presence all around them.
Kids at True North will also participate in a special mission project to raise funds for Cherish Watoto Kenya, a school and orphanage in Nairobi. Together, they’ll help provide basic supplies and educational materials to children in need.
True North is open to children ages 4 years old through fifth grade. It will run each day from 9 a.m. to noon or 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the church, 1310 Shepherd Drive
