Raising awareness of elder abuse and adult protective services in Lake County
Lifescape Community Services’ Adult Protective Services staff are hosting two community-wide opportunities to learn more about elder abuse prevention and adult protective services in recognition of World Elder Abuse Day.
These events are free and open to the public:
• 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, June 11, at The Patty Turner Center, 375 Elm St., Deerfield
• 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, June 13, at Lifescape Community Services, 100 N. Atkinson Road, #106-L, Grayslake.
The events will feature an outdoor information booth, World Elder Abuse Awareness Day giveaways, water bottles and snacks.
