Fremd’s Jakubczak eyeing busy summer
Fremd offensive lineman Owen Jakubczak (6-foot-4, 260 pounds) recently wrapped up his junior year and is eyeing a busy summer.
“I was able to add my latest offer from Wyoming,” he said. “I'm still trying to sort out my schedule between the two camps I have along with my team responsibilities. Some of the Power 4 schools like Northwestern, Indiana and a few others want me to camp with them this summer.
“I'm looking at going to the Northwestern Big Man camp and I might add another visit or two if I can fit them into my schedule. I'm also looking at getting out to see some schools in person. I'm looking at taking visits this summer to see San Diego State, Miami of Ohio, Toledo and also New Mexico State. I've already visited Miami of Ohio for an unofficial visit, then I might go back again this summer for an official visit.”
