Hanover Township to hold Freedom Car Show June 13

Hanover Township will host its annual Freedom Car Show from 5-9 p.m. Friday, June 13, at its Tiknis Campus, 240 S. Route 59, Bartlett.

Attendees will have the opportunity to view many types of classic cars up close while participating in raffles and enjoying music from Howard Productions DJ. Food vendors will also be onsite. This event is open to the public and there is no charge for admission.

Trophies will be awarded to vehicle owners for Best of Show, Top 10 and People’s Choice. Trophies will be presented at 8 p.m.

The township will also be selling 12-by-18-inch American flags for attendees to purchase in the name of a veteran. The flags will be placed along the township’s Veterans’ Walkway of Honor for Veterans Day this fall on the campus.

Proceeds from flag sales and vehicle registration fees will support the township’s Veterans programs.
